For Marguerite

Our Lady was watching us
From the distant Church
Sea behind Her
Painting the most amazing Blue

Come, She said, let me give you
The secret of your Dreams
The magic of Now

With your eyes closed
Holding a safe hand
Discover in a glimpse
How beautiful
A flower
Can be

A tiny, tiny one
With its intricate textures
With its intricate shades
With its intricate scents
Looked out from a crack
Born between two rocks

If I have passed it
As usual
Blind-folded
With my thoughts, feelings, and worries
I would not have even noticed
Its little intention to reach perfection
for Life, for Beauty, for God
