Adam - the child of God

My fascination stays fixed on this man
I call Adam

His colour is yellow - rarely found in Nature - because it is so precious
We see it everywhere,
but can not hold it,
or even dream to comprehend it
Like yellow of Gold,
Like yellow of Sun,
Like yellow of a Lion's stretched body

Adam does not like wearing shoes - his feet rebel - like his brain
that only can grasp open spaces

If he can, he dismantles every single screw on whatever-he-has-in-hands
to paint it or
fix it or
just for the sake of assembling it again - for the sake of the Game

Adam loves challenges that God gives him
he spites Him and eagerly awaits the next one and the next one and the next one

as a child exiled from Heaven that has sworn he has not gone mad!

Adam hates stillness even though he knows that it is only
IT that can give him peace

He observes
With painful precision
Every single moment that passes
Every single street that he walks through
Every single person that truly touches him
And he declares - it is here - in this illusion - I want to live - on planet Earth - nowhere else!

And yet I know, if he could, or if he would just know how
he would become a bird - an eagle
or live
as a Bedouin in a desert or
as a Fisherman in the middle of the sea
and would have never returned to this buzz of his mind
he is now so attracted to...
